FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: automatic tension control of the traction body of the two-drive scraper conveyor, containing the head and tail drive stations, each of which contains a hydraulic tensioner with a telescopic pan and hydraulic power cylinders, is carried out as follows. Data is received from pressure sensors in the hydraulic cylinders of the tensioners of the head and tail drive stations, data from the power sensors of the drives of the head and tail drive stations, and data from the sensor for sagging chains of the traction body in the branch running from the head drive. All received data is processed in the master device, forming an updated pressure control law. Pressure is regulated only in the hydraulic cylinders of the tensioner of the tail drive station, depending on the obtained refined pressure control law to control tension of the traction body.
EFFECT: reduced energy consumption by the drive and improved durability of the traction body of the two-drive scraper conveyor.
