FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: method for distribution of metallographic structures in the working bodies of soil-cultivating implements by functional areas includes smelting, alloying and modifying cast iron, obtaining a casting in a mold and heat treatment in a liquid bath. The casting of the working body is made from cast iron containing, wt.%: C 3.2-3.3; Si 1.7-1.8; Mn 0.8-0.9; Ni 2.7-2.8; Mo 1.6-1.7; Cr 0.8-0.9; Cu 0.8-1.0; Mg 0.1-0.12; Ba 0.02-0.04; S, P≤ 0.08; Fe is the rest. The casting is removed from the mold at 950-1020°C and transferred to a water bath 20°C. Heat treatment is carried out by immersion and extraction cycles of the cutting part of the working body: 1 - the cutting part is immersed in water by 40% and held for 3.0 s, then removed and kept in air for 2.0 s, 2 - the cutting part is immersed in water by 70% and held for 2.5 s, removed and held 2.5 s, 3 - immerse the cutting part in water by 100% and hold for 2.0 s, remove and hold for 5.0 s, 4 - immerse and hold for 2.0 s, remove and hold for 12.5 s, 5 - immerse and incubated for 1.0 s, removed and incubated until completely cooled.
EFFECT: zonal distribution of metallographic structures is provided for the functional zones of the working bodies in accordance with the type of prevailing loads.
