FIELD: mechanical engineering; metallurgy; agricultural production.
SUBSTANCE: method for increasing the reliability of cast iron hoe openers of stubble seeders using heat treatment. The method includes smelting, alloying and modifying cast iron, producing a sand casting, removing the casting from the mold at a given temperature, moving it into a liquid bath at a given temperature, while casting from cast iron containing, wt.%: C 3.1-3.2, Si 2.3-2.5, Mn 0.4-0.5, Ni 2.3-2.4, Mo 1.3-1.4, Cr 0.05- 0.06, Cu 0.08, Mg 0.08, S 950-1020, P 20, Fe – the rest, removed from the mold at a temperature of 950-1020C and transferred to a bath of water at a temperature of 20C, and heat treatment is carried out by four cycles of immersion and removal of the cutting part of the hoe opener, while in the first cycle the cutting part is immersed in water and held for 2 seconds, then removed and kept in air for 3 seconds, in the second cycle it is immersed in water and kept for 2 seconds, then removed and kept in air for 4 seconds, in the third cycle it is immersed in water and kept for 2 seconds, then removed and kept in air for 9 seconds, in the fourth cycle it is immersed in water and kept for 1 seconds, then removed and kept in air until completely cooled, and in the first cycle the cutting part is immersed in water with a plane from the upper frontal corner of the first thickening from above to the perpendicular to the middle of the distance from the bottom of the second thickening from above to the lower down suction relative to the established state, and in the second and subsequent cycles, the cutting part is immersed in water with a plane from the upper frontal angle of the first thickening from above to the lower down suction relative to the established state.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability of hoe openers of stubble seeders due to the zonal distribution of metallographic structures across functional zones.
