SUBSTANCE: method includes heating of blank, multipass hot rolling in rolls with gauges, cooling in pass-through cooling sections, winding of rolled section into bundles and following cooling at air, after cooling at air it is implemented sampling for mechanical tests, its dressing, implementation of mechanical tests. Determination accuracy increasing of conventional yield strength is provided ensured by dressing of samples is implemented directly after sampling from bundles by means of axial tension of each sample with loading, gradually growing from zero up to P, enough for removal of sample curvature after tensile unloading, mechanical tests of received samples is implemented not earlier than after 2 hours after implementation of dressing, and value of effort is specified according to mathematical dependence. Device allows driving claws with grasping force sensors of tension, installed with ability of lengthwise movement in mutually antithetic directions with ability of instantaneous disconnection of load at achievement of specified effort.

EFFECT: improving of rolling ensured by removing of mistake of mechanical tests at manufacturing of rolled section in bundles on wire light-section mill.
