FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: agitator having a mixing tank fixed on the base. The agitator has a mixing tank fixed on the base with an unloading opening located in the bottom of the mixing tank and a locking lid. The locking lid is movable back and forth between a closed position, in which the locking lid closes the discharge opening, and an open position, in which the locking lid does not close the discharge opening. The locking lid is connected to the said base by means of a four-hinged mechanism with four rotational hinges. The first and the second rotational hinges of the four-hinged mechanism are located on the locking lid. The third and the fourth rotational hinges of the four-hinged mechanism are located on the base. The mixing tank is rotatable around the axis of the mixing tank. The four-hinged mechanism is placed so that it does not rotate together with the mixing tank around the axis of the mixing tank.
EFFECT: invention provides a significant reduction in fouling of the agitator locking lid drive.
