The invention is also related to a method for obtaining a compound of chemical formula 1, which involves cyclization and methoxylation of a compound of chemical formula 5 in an acid medium in presence of a reaction solvent to obtain a compound of chemical formula 6; and obtaining a compound of chemical formula 1 from a compound of chemical formula 6.

EFFECT: method for obtaining a compound of chemical formula 1, which is an SGLT inhibitor, using a new intermediate compound of chemical formula 5 in high yield is developed.
