SUBSTANCE: invention is related to an intermediate compound of the chemical formula 5, where n is 1, X is halogen, B is 
where Ra and Rb are each independently hydrogen or C3-6 cycloalkyl. The invention is also related to a method for obtaining a compound of chemical formula 5 by deprotection and ring opening in an acid medium in presence of water from a compound of chemical formula 4. The invention is also related to a method for obtaining a compound of chemical formula 1, which involves cyclization and methoxylation of a compound of chemical formula 5 in an acid medium in presence of a reaction solvent to obtain a compound of chemical formula 6; and obtaining a compound of chemical formula 1 from a compound of chemical formula 6.
EFFECT: method for obtaining a compound of chemical formula 1, which is an SGLT inhibitor, using a new intermediate compound of chemical formula 5 in high yield is developed.
