FIELD: broaching tools.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to broaching tools for cutting in a straight line with insert cutting edges, in particular, to methods for manufacturing a shaped broaching tool used for processing herringbone-type interlocks in turbine and compressor disks. The method includes machining the broach body, grinding the profile of the cutting plates and their backing along the back surface, installing and fixing the cutting plates in the broach body, while the cutting elements are used unified herringbone profile plates of two types: left-hand and right-hand, each of which has two interchangeable cutting edges, feed per tooth is formed due to the supporting planes of the broach body, it is also possible to restore the size along the rollers as they wear and regrind the cutting plates due to the use of measuring pads.
EFFECT: increase in the modularity and maintainability of the broaching tool along with an increase in its performance, productivity and dimensional stability due to the use of unified plates from various tool materials: hard alloy or powder high-speed steels, depending on the required processing conditions.
