FIELD: packaging systems.
SUBSTANCE: system (1) for semi-automatic closing of elastic containers (C) comprises a continuous deformable tape (N) and a semi-automatic device (2) for closing containers (C). The device (2) comprises a frame (5), a feeding device (7), a cutting device (8) and a deforming and closing device (9). Labels (E) are integrated as an integral part with the indicated tape (N). The deforming and closing device (9) is matched with the cutting means (8) to deform and close each marked collar (3) around the open end (A) of one container (C) at a time. The frame (5) comprises a substantially horizontal plate (12) which has a vertical (13) wall for stiffening, and the feed device (7) comprises a channel (10) which extends along said wall (13) and has a cross section which larger than the cross-section of the specified labelled tape (N) to prevent any deformation of its labels (E) when it is fed.
EFFECT: ability to position the label at the centre of each yoke; and to position each yoke at the centre of the open end of each container to prevent label distortion.
