FIELD: sealants.
SUBSTANCE: electrically conductive thermally expanding sealing compositions for sealing and pressurization of glued joints made by contact welding over an uncured sealant layer in mechanical engineering, in particular automotive, car building, shipbuilding, aircraft building. The electrically conductive thermally expanding sealing composition contains butyl rubber, polyisobutylene with a molecular weight of 10000-25000, graphite, carbon black, azodicarbonamide and zinc oxide in the following ratio of components, wt.%: butyl rubber 10-20, polyisobutylene with a molecular weight of 10000-25000 5-10, graphite 45- 55, mineral oil 17-25, carbon black 5, azodicarbonamide 1-2, zinc oxide 0.25-0.4.
EFFECT: obtaining an electrically conductive thermally expanding sealing composition for sealing and pressurization of glue-welded joints performed by contact welding over an uncured sealant layer, having volumetric expansion upon heating to fill the internal cavity of the welded joint, good electrically conductive, sealing and anticorrosive properties, high physical and mechanical stability and adhesive strength.
