SUBSTANCE: at the first stage, a study of the kidneys is carried out to establish the fact of agenesis of one kidney by transabdominal access using a convex ultrasound transducer with a frequency of 3.5–5.0 MHz. At the second stage, an ultrasound examination is performed by transrectal access using a microconvex probe with a frequency of 10–15 MHz. The seminal vesicle enlarged in size, with internal partitions, filled with liquid content is visualized. The ejaculatory duct is visualized, the absence of its lumen, increased echogenicity of the walls are revealed. The state of the subperitoneal part of the vas deferens is evaluated, its expansion, and the presence of anchogenic contents in the lumen is revealed. At the third stage, an ultrasound examination is carried out by percutaneous access using a linear sensor with a frequency of 6–15 MHz, the expansion of the testicular mediastinum with a modified hypoechoic fine mesh structure due to the liquid component is visualized, an increase in the epididymis with a modified hypoechoic fine mesh structure due to the liquid component, the expansion and presence of a liquid component are visualized in the lumen of the proximal region of the area from the tail of the epididymis to the inguinal canal, and in the presence of all of the above signs, Zinner's syndrome is diagnosed.

EFFECT: method is simple, allows to reliably detect Zinner's syndrome, which is of great importance in reproduction in the management of afertile patients with suspected obstructive azoospermia, when conducting preventive medical examinations of a contingent of young men of childbearing age.
