FIELD: eye treatment.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to self-sealing injection needles for preventing the formation of a fistula on the eyeball. A self-sealing injection needle for preventing fistula formation on the eyeball, the surface of which is coated with at least one biocompatible polymer selected from the group consisting of hyaluronic acid and collagen. The front part and the back part of the injection needle have different coating thickness, and the coating thickness of the back part of the injection needle is larger than the thickness of the coating of the front part of the injection needle. A method for preparing a self-sealing injection needle is also disclosed.
EFFECT: group of inventions ensures exclusion of the possibility of outflow of intraocular fluid, outflow of medication and penetration of bacteria.
