FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: plants for the generation of thermal and electrical energy. The power plant consists of an internal combustion engine (ICE) (8) connected to an electric generator (9), a controller (6), at least one storage battery (7). The ICE exhaust gas system (8) includes a heat exchanger (11) connected through a pump (13) to an ammonia tank (14) and configured to evaporate ammonia. The heat exchanger (11) includes a section (12) for the catalytic decomposition of ammonia into hydrogen and nitrogen, additionally including an electric heater. The heat exchanger (11) is connected to a membrane filter (10) for separating nitrogen and hydrogen, which includes a valve for removing nitrogen to the atmosphere. The membrane filter (10) is connected by a hydrogen supply line to the ICE (8) and the anode (1) of a molten carbonate fuel cell. The cathode (3) of the fuel cell is connected to sources (4, 5) of carbon dioxide and oxygen. The fuel cell is connected through the controller (6) to at least one storage battery (7).
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of the installation by increasing the efficiency of hydrogen use.
