METHOD OF RECONSTRUCTION OF DIAPHYSEAL DEFECTS OF LONG TUBULAR BONES Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B17/72 A61F2/28 

FIELD: medicine; oncology.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for reconstruction of diaphyseal defects of long tubular bones. Between the proximal and distal boundaries of the bone, a carbon nanostructured implant (CNI) is installed, corresponding to the length and outer diameter of the resected bone and with an inner diameter 1–2 mm larger than the diameter of the intramedullary nail. The ends of the implant and the resected bone are stabilized by passing an intramedullary nail through the medullary canal and the implant canal. Compression of sawdust of bone fragments with the contact surface of the UNI is created, the intramedullary nail is fixed with locking screws.

EFFECT: method ensures the reduction of the number of postoperative complications from the operated limb, allows to increase the stability and strength of the reconstruction due to the combination of the reconstruction of the postoperative defect of the UNI with intramedullary osteosynthesis.
