FIELD: sampling equipment.

SUBSTANCE: device for sampling explosive gases is disclosed, containing a cylindrical housing with an inlet pipe, a piston with a rod installed in the housing, and an electromagnet installed outside the housing. A valve with a handle is installed in the inlet pipe of the housing, pressed to the internal cavity of the inlet pipe by a spring, the piston is equipped with a metal protective cylinder, the piston rod is made of a composite of magnetic and non-magnetic materials, a holder is fixedly attached to the rod with the ability to move freely together with the rod in the slot of the body. A ring clamp is installed on the holder, covering the body and increasing rigidity of the structure, a guide cylinder is made inside the body to guide the magnetic part of the rod, which is retracted into it under the influence of an electromagnet, turned on remotely from the control panel, a fork branch is installed at the free end of the holder, made movably relative to the body on a hinge, with a bend from the axis of the body to ensure that the valve handle, closed by a spring before the start of sampling, is synchronized with the start of movement of the rod, and its opening to start sampling.

EFFECT: improved accuracy of determining the concentrations of flammable gases in the air of explosive compartments of an aircraft by preventing dilution of the sample with air before and after its collection.
