FIELD: chemistry; ecology.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to ecology and analytical chemistry and can be used to assess the gradient of toxic impurities in aircraft hermobaths air. For this purpose one-step injection into carbon dioxide gas conditioning system is performed in concentration below permissible limit, 0.3–0.5 vol. %, for one minute with subsequent assessment of its concentration in several points of aircraft cabin. After the carbon dioxide gas is injected, a single-stage air sampling of the cabin is performed over the selected section of the grid, containing numbered sampling units, each consisting of two syringe samplers with a check valve and a syringe-pneumatic actuator placed along the selected section of the grid. In order to reduce sample losses, opening of the check valve of the analyzed syringe takes place at the moment of connection of the syringe sampler to the dosing valve of the chromatograph. Then, distribution of air flows inside the cabin is evaluated on the gradient of carbon dioxide concentration and stagnant zones of the cabin are identified, where these concentrations are maximum. Also disclosed is an air sampling device, comprising medical disposable syringes, which are combined into working sampling units of three and installed in one plane on a special plank-holder and attached together by rod ends.

EFFECT: group of inventions makes it possible to estimate gradient of toxic impurities in air of air-cocks of aircrafts due to single-stage automatic sampling of air contaminated with carbon dioxide in selected sections of cabin.
