SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for augmentation in case of ankle arthrodesis failure. Longitudinal posterior access to the ankle joint is performed along the lateral edge of the Achilles tendon. The posterior part of the ankle joint capsule, the scar tissue between the talus and the tibia, the remnants of the cartilage of the articular surfaces of the tibia and the talus block, sclerotically altered and non-viable bone tissue are removed. Bone spongy-cortical autografts are taken from the iliac wing and filled with them in the space between the tibia and talus. The ankle joint is additionally fixed with a plate with angular stability of the screws.
EFFECT: method ensures the formation of ankylosis by holding the spliced bones in a predetermined position using additional free bone autoplasty.
