FIELD: solid waste processing.

SUBSTANCE: unit for processing of municipal solid waste contains a vertically oriented steel case located in the ground, made with the possibility of placing a charge in its centre, a loading window in its upper part. The central part of the unit body is cylindrical, trapezoidally tapering towards its ends, with the possibility of molten metals generated during processing of municipal solid waste being discharged through the lower open end of the body into a pit under the body. In the sidewall of the pit, there is a melt outlet window provided with a shutter. Inside, in the sidewalls of the body, nozzles for burning coke are mounted, between which elements of active protection against the blast wave that occurs during explosion of the charge are mounted. In the upper end of the unit housing, in addition to the loading window, there is an instrument and charging window and a gas outlet window; a coke unloading window is made in the lower end of the housing near the pit for metal melt. The loading window, the instrument and charging window, and the windows for gas outlet and coke unloading are equipped with protective covers.

EFFECT: enabled creation of a technologically simple reusable installation for processing of municipal solid waste with reduced material consumption.
