FIELD: agricultural engineering.
SUBSTANCE: automation of active ventilation of grain in silos that can be used to automate the processes of drying and storing grain crops in large-capacity metal silos equipped with an active ventilation system. The method includes placing three groups of sensors to control temperature, humidity, and air velocity. The first group of sensors is placed at the bottom of the silo, next to the ventilation unit. The second group of sensors is placed in the central part of the silo in the middle of the grain layer. The third group of sensors is placed in the upper part of the silo, on the grain layer, where an air pressure control device is also placed. The sensor data is sent to the control board of the controller, which sends signals to turn the ventilation unit on and off.
EFFECT: optimized operation of active grain ventilation systems.
