SUBSTANCE: method involves providing grain moisture content of up to 12.6%, debris content of 0.4% and grain contaminants content of 0.8% before laying grain for storage in elevator silage; determining lignin content in grain and laying for storage only grain having lignin content of 5.0-5.7%.
EFFECT: prolonged storage of grain mass owing to suppressed development of microflora.
