SUBSTANCE: unit for carrying out liquid-phase microextraction concentration of impurities from aqueous solutions by electroflotation demulsification with an extractant with a density greater than that of water, contains a demulsification tank, to which a capillary is soldered to collect the extract, electrodes immersed in the demulsification tank, and a direct current source connected to the electrodes. The method for carrying out liquid-phase microextraction concentration of impurities includes introducing a salt additive into water, dispersing the extractant phase in water, applying direct voltage to the electrodes, aggregating the extract phase using electroflotation by means of electrolysis gases, dosing the extract sample into the evaporator of a chromatograph or chromato-mass spectrometer.

EFFECT: reduction of the limit of detection of analytes in aqueous solutions, possibility to reproducibly control intensity of demulsification and automate the process of destruction of emulsions.
