METHOD OF PRELIMINARY DIAGNOSTICS OF LOWER LIMB VEIN DISEASES BASED ON ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ALGORITHMS Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G16H50/00 G06T7/00 G06N3/02

Abstract RU 2804279 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining diseases of the veins of the lower extremities. A method of determining diseases of the veins of the lower extremities is proposed, the said method is executed on a computing device containing a processor and a memory that stores instructions executed by the processor and includes the following steps. The server receives an image of the user's lower extremities from the user's device. The segmentation neural network is used to segment the skin on the image of the user's lower extremities to separate the skin from the background on the image and transmit the results to the detection neural network. By means of a detecting neural network, segments of the affected areas of the skin of the veins of the lower extremities with a preliminary diagnosis are determined. To validate the results of the detecting neural network, the segments of the affected areas of the skin of the veins of the lower extremities are fed to the input of the classification neural network to determine the presence of the disease of the veins of the lower extremities. The results of the detecting neural network and the classification neural network are compared to determine the presence of lower extremity vein disease, if the diagnoses obtained from the detecting and classification neural networks coincide, they are compared with threshold values, if the values of the results of the detecting and classification neural networks are above the threshold values, the result is provided with a definite diagnosis. Based on a specific diagnosis, recommendations are generated for the user.

EFFECT: invention improves the accuracy of diagnosing diseases of the veins of the lower extremities.
