SUBSTANCE: method for recognizing objects by digital processing of initial images in grayscale contains stages in which a calibration set is superimposed on the original image obtained on a computer screen in grayscale using an electron microscope, followed by measuring the intensity of the grey level of individual pixels making up the image in conventional shades of grey, and combining pixels having the same grey level intensity between them, a square grid with a given number of side pixels corresponding to the grey level in grayscale is used as a calibration set.

EFFECT: increase in the information content of image formation about the spatial arrangement of microstructure phases.
