SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a composition containing retinol, as well as to the use of the composition. The composition is intended to reduce the signs of skin aging, reduce the appearance of stretch marks or cellulite, to treat acne or rosacea and skin roughness, contains (i) from 0.05 to 0.5 wt.% of retinol; (ii) a polar softener, which is a combination of 18 wt.% of simple stearyl ether of propylene glycol and from 7.0 to 23 wt.% of dicaprylyl carbonate; and (iii) from 38 to 51 wt.% of isohexadecane, and the mass ratio of the polar softener and isohexadecane is from 1:2 to 1:1, and the composition is anhydrous.
EFFECT: group of inventions described above makes it possible to achieve low levels of irritation and high activity of retinol.
