FIELD: self-healing compositions.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a self-healing composition, as well as to a method for producing and using the composition. The composition for producing granular material for cementing a well contains a hydrogenated styrene thermoplastic elastomer, a hydrophilic polymer and an inorganic filler. In this case, the mass ratio of the specified hydrogenated styrene thermoplastic elastomer to the specified inorganic filler is from 30:70 to 70:30, and/or the mass ratio of the hydrogenated styrene thermoplastic elastomer to the hydrophilic polymer is from 1:0.01 to 1:0.1. A method for producing granular material involves mixing hydrogenated styrene thermoplastic elastomer with an inorganic filler until homogeneous to obtain a mixed material and performing extrusion granulation of the mixed material under melting conditions of said hydrogenated styrene thermoplastic elastomer. A hydrophilic polymer coating is applied to the resulting granules to obtain granular material. The granular material is used for cementing a well in an oil and gas field, preferably as a self-healing agent.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of formation of a homogeneous and stable cement suspension for cementing a well.
