SUBSTANCE: combined sequential use of pathogenetic antiresorptive therapy — drugs of the first line of choice bisphosphonates — ibandronic acid — Acidum ibandronicum together with calcium preparations and vitamin D: cholecalciferol or alfacalcidol is carried out. Besides, thioctic acid is used according to the following scheme 2 times a year: 600 mg — intravenously by drips 5 days a week for 4 weeks, followed by transfer to tablet intake of 600 mg 1 time per day in the morning 30 minutes before meals for 3 months. From the 3rd month of treatment, neurotropic vitamins are added to the therapy. The initial levels of the following vitamins are determined: B1, B6, B12. Afterwards, a course of 10 injections of neurotropic vitamins is performed. Then the patients are switched to their oral intake, with the control of the levels of vitamins B1, B6, B12 in dynamics.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to increase bone mineral density in patients with osteoporosis on the background of type 2 diabetes mellitus, reduce the frequency of fractures by reducing the number of falls in patients and expanding motor activity, and also improves the quality of life of patients.
