SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a method for manufacturing a temporary silicone obturator for defects of the upper jaw. To fill and obturate the included defect of the upper jaw, silicone material of soft elastic consistency is used. A rigid base plastic is cold-cured to form a rigid base to prevent silicone from flowing out of the defect. A non-polymerized silicone mass is applied to the hard base and defect of the hard palate and clinical relining is performed in the oral cavity. The silicone plug is removed from the oral cavity, the silicone obturator is separated from the hard plastic, the excess silicone lining is removed with scissors, the silicone obturator is adjusted to the oral cavity, and the silicone obturator is adjusted.

EFFECT: method ensures production of a temporary obturator of reduced volume, which prevents water from entering the nasal cavity and provides the ability to perform dental treatment in one clinical session, while reducing the production time, ensuring easy application and removal of the palatal prosthesis, as well as the absence of trauma to the mucous membrane when applying the prosthesis.
