FIELD: construction; mining.
SUBSTANCE: pneumatic impact mechanism contains a cylindrical body with outlet channels, an annular flange with a through central hole, a working tool with a shank, a stepped impactor with a rod part, a rod with a piston part with a screw channel-groove installed in the central hole of the annular flange, an annular chamber of a pneumatic buffer, a sleeve of the cylindrical body with a hole for passing the rod part, a network air chamber on the side of the annular flange with bypass channels, an idle chamber on the side of the shank of the working tool. A distribution chamber is located inside the sleeve of the cylindrical body. Bypass channels constantly connect the network air chamber with the distribution chamber. A cup with a channel for air supply is fixed relative to the cylindrical body. The outer side surface of the rod part of the stepped impactor and the inner side surface of the cylindrical body sleeve are made in the form of truncated cones with mating surfaces with the minimum possible gap to eliminate mutual jamming. An annular pressurization chamber is formed between the cylindrical body and the sleeve. The annular pressurization chamber is constantly connected through bypass channels in the wall of the sleeve to the annular distribution chamber and bypass channels in the annular flange with the network air chamber.
EFFECT: reduction of air back pressure in the working stroke chamber at the end of the idle stroke, reduction of air back pressure in the idle stroke chamber at the end of the working stroke, reduction of the idle and working stroke time of the impactor, as well as an increase in the energy and frequency of blows of the pneumatic impact mechanism.
