MOBILE THERMAL SIMULATOR OF MILITARY EQUIPMENT Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC F41H3/00

Abstract RU 2804906 C2

FIELD: military equipment.

SUBSTANCE: camouflage of weapons and military equipment that can be used when equipping false positions and staging areas of troops. The mobile thermal simulator of military equipment consists of fabric shell 1, thermal panels 2, autonomous power unit 3, power cables, thermoelectric flexible panels 4 with adjustable temperature distribution over the area of thermal contrast areas in accordance with the real thermal pattern of the imitated object. All equipment is placed on platform 5, towed by a vehicle equipped with a towing device, and corresponding in terms of the size of the real object. Autonomous power unit 3 is rigidly fixed in front of platform base 6. Along the perimeter of the middle and the rear parts of the base of platform 6, thermal panels 2 are rigidly fixed with thermoelectric flexible panels 4 placed on their side and upper surfaces, connected by electric cables in a series-parallel circuit with autonomous power unit 3. To the lower part of the base of platform 6, vertically located support posts 7 are rigidly attached, rigidly connected to each other, connected in the upper part of the posts by transverse 9 and longitudinal 10 spans, made of the same type of unified elements. From the outside, hinged sliding 12 and telescopic rods 13 are pivotally attached to the upper part of support posts 11 from the outside, having at least one degree of freedom, hinged to each other and forming a frame for deploying a camouflage cover. Locking devices are provided on telescopic rods 13.

EFFECT: reduction of time spent on deployment, folding of a false position and rapid change of location, as well as reduction of labour costs when equipping false staging areas and false positions.
