FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for measuring the angle of rotation of an aircraft in a horizontal plane. To measure the angle of rotation in the horizontal plane, the roll angle of the aircraft, the angle of rotation around its normal axis, and angular velocities along the normal and transverse axes are measured. The rotation angle in the horizontal plane is formed in accordance with a certain mathematical formula.
EFFECT: increased reliability and accuracy of measurement is ensured by compensating for the cardan error.
