FIELD: precision instrumentation; gyroscopic technology.
SUBSTANCE: essence of the invention lies in the fact that the azimuthal correction system of the directional gyroscope contains a microcontroller (MC), to the first input port of which, through an analogue-to-code converter, the output of the system angle sensor installed on the suspension axis of the outer frame is connected. To the second, third and fourth input ports of the MC, respectively, the latitude adjuster, the balancing signal adjuster, the initial heading adjuster installed in the control panel are connected. The output port of the MC is connected to the orthodromic course indicator, which is formed according to the formula where the angular velocity of the Earth's rotation around its axis; current latitude; the systematic component of the drift from the residual unbalance; additive formed by the initial course setter; aircraft parking course, readings of the system angle sensor; time of setting the parking course; discrete time; cycle number for real-time operation of the microcontroller; orthodromic heading calculated in MC.
EFFECT: simplifying the design of the directional gyroscope and improving the accuracy of the azimuth correction system.
