SELF-ORGANIZING AND SELF-MANAGING SWARM OF UAVS AND METHOD FOR MONITORING TERRITORY FOR PRESENCE OF SET EVENT THROUGH SUCH SWARM Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC G08G5/00 G05D1/10 B64C39/00

Abstract RU 2805431 C1

FIELD: UAVs.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to a self-organizing group of UAVs and a method for monitoring an area for presence of an established event using a group of UAVs. The UAV group contains four subgroups of UAVs, each of which includes drones that perform specified functions in the group depending on their role. Each drone from the group contains flight aids, a computer vision module including at least one camera and configured to recognize a finite number of events and objects and transmit a signal about this to the controller, a radio module for exchanging signals with other drones, a navigation module, a controller, a means for storing and resetting tags configured to emit signals, while the drones of the second and fourth subgroups contain an additional power source, and the drones of the third contain means for attaching the payload. To control the territory, a drone from the first subgroup takes off and moves according to the route of the flight mission, and marks are reset to form the route for the remaining drones. If a signal about an event is received from a drone from the first subgroup, drones from the second subgroup take off and move towards the event site, as well as from the third and fourth subgroups, while the second subgroup is intended for relaying the signal to all other members of the group, the third subgroup is for transportation payload, the fourth - for adjusting the route if necessary.

EFFECT: provides the ability to detect certain events without human intervention.\
