FIELD: user authentication.
SUBSTANCE: method for authenticating a candidate user includes obtaining by a second service from the first service a request for a candidate unique user-service identifier (USUID) associated with the candidate user. The candidate USUID is unique for the candidate user - first service pair. The method includes generating a candidate USUID by the second service and sending a token pointing to it. If the candidate USUID matches the target USUID, the first service authenticates the candidate user as the target user without asking the candidate user for more information.
EFFECT: protection of the user's registration data by authenticating the user in the client third-party service through the base service without asking the user for additional information for authentication.
