FIELD: sanitation; disinfection.
SUBSTANCE: antiseptics against non-enveloped viruses. The antiseptic composition includes olanexidine gluconate and an agent for adjusting the pH of the antiseptic composition. The antiseptic composition has a pH ranging from 8.5 to 11.5. Also a wiping agent is presented, including the specified antiseptic composition. In another embodiment, the use of this composition as an antiseptic against non-enveloped viruses is disclosed.
EFFECT: increase not only in bactericidal activity, but also in virucidal activity against non-enveloped viruses.
