SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for compacting road surfaces, foundations and soil. The vibration mechanism of a road roller drum with adjustable driving force includes a drive motor mounted inside the drum, mounted on a support plate, a vibration exciter consisting of a housing attached to the drum frame, inside which a hollow shaft with an unbalance mounted on it is mounted in bearings, a central shaft with an unbalance mounted inside a hollow shaft. The hollow and central shafts are located coaxially and have the ability to rotate relative to each other, and the static moments of the unbalances are equal. The planetary mechanism consists of a housing, which on one side is mounted in support bearings connected to the drum frame, and on the other side is rigidly fixed to the support plate, and inside of which there is a carrier, which can be rotated relative to the housing around the main axis of the planetary mechanism, and a drive gear , satellites and gears, the axes of rotation of which are connected to the internal surfaces of the carrier and housing, respectively, a double-rimmed gear mounted in a bearing, a driven gear connected to a hollow shaft and mounted on bearings, and a drive shaft connected by one end mounted in a bearing, with the output shaft of the driving motor, and connected by the other end, installed in the hole of the driven gear, to the central shaft. The adjusting device consists of a motor mounted on a support plate, a gear mounted on the output shaft of the motor and forming engagement with the ring gear of the carrier.

EFFECT: simplifying the design, increasing the speed of regulation of the magnitude of the driving force, as well as ensuring the efficiency and smoothness of its regulation.
