FIELD: vehicles.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to road-building machines and is intended for compacting road surfaces, foundations, and soil. The vibration roll of the road leveller includes a roll wherein a hydraulic motor of the drive, the output shaft whereof is connected with the drive shaft by means of a gear coupling, a positioning hydraulic motor, a drive shaft, a debalance shaft and a gear coupling are located inside said roll. The drive shaft is connected with the debalance shaft installed on bearings inside the hollow debalance shaft coaxially with the latter. A reduction gearbox is present, including a body installed inside the support configured to rotate relative to the latter due to the kinematic connection of the body with the positioning hydraulic motor in form of an attachment and a gear, three satellites, and, installed on the drive shaft, a drive gear and a driven gear shaft connected with a disk rigidly fixed at the end of the hollow debalance shaft installed on bearings. A reduction gearbox angular position sensor is present.

EFFECT: increasing efficiency of the road surface compaction process by means of a possibility of changing the direction of action of the resulting driving force from horizontal to vertical.
