FIELD: medical devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to additional equipment for optical instruments intended for visual examination of objects, namely to digital microscopes attachments. The digital microscope attachment for generating illumination of the studied area of the product is a volumetric part with a central axial channel for the light flux from the light emitters of the digital microscope, and containing a sequentially located shielding part, configured to interface with the mating part of the digital microscope, an intermediate scattering part, and an end part, configured to direct a stream of scattered light onto the area of interest of the product, while the nozzle contains side channels associated with the shielding part, configured to form an additional flux of scattered light directed to the end part of the nozzle; in this case, the shielding, intermediate and end parts have a configuration that ensures complete shielding of the studied area of the product from the direct light flux from the light emitters of the digital microscope, and their inner surface is made of a material with a scattering coefficient of visible light of 50% or more.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at obtaining uniform diffuse illumination of read or observed objects, including objects less than 1 mm in size, applied to hard-to-reach places of metal products with high reflectivity, and, as a result, obtaining high-quality images of these objects with their more convenient positioning in the field of view of the microscope.
