FIELD: radio-electronic control systems (RECS) for aircraft.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for all-aspect homing of an air-to-air missile at a given type of aircraft based on the diversity of their pair. The essence of the proposed method for all-aspect homing of an air-to-air missile at a given type of aircraft is that in K cycles of operation of the tracking filters, based on the generated estimates of Doppler frequencies, the corresponding autocorrelation functions (ACF) are calculated, from which the corresponding parameters of speed fluctuations are determined: time correlations, standard deviation, frequency of ACF fluctuations, from which, in turn, the corresponding dispersions of acceleration fluctuations are calculated. At the same time, pre-launch target designation (TD) about the recognized type of aircraft to which the missile guidance is required is entered into the missile speed auto-selector from the on-board radar station of its carrier, in form of dispersions of aircraft acceleration fluctuations. Depending on the entered target designation, decisions are made on the type of aircraft to which the missile is approaching, as well as on formation of the required mismatch parameters in the missile's electronic control system in the horizontal and vertical planes.
EFFECT: ensuring all-aspect homing of an air-to-air missile in the front or rear hemisphere to a given type of aircraft based on the diversity of their pair by forming the appropriate mismatch parameters in the missile's electronic control system.
