FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to radio electronic control systems (RECS) of air-to-air missiles with an active radar homing head (ARHH) and can be used to increase the efficiency of homing a missile to a helicopter when it is used to set off range and speed jamming. Disclosed method consists in the fact that the ARHH transmitter generates a probing signal, which is emitted through the head channel antenna in the direction to the helicopter, the radar signal (RL) reflected from the helicopter enters the receiver through the head channel antenna, where it is amplified, converted to an intermediate frequency and supplied to the inputs of the FFT unit, in which it is converted into an amplitude-frequency spectrum (AFS) of the signal, as well as a range finder, an auto-selector of speed and a protractor; at each k-th cycle of the ARHH operation, various parameters are measured and evaluated. Further, the rocket is homing to the helicopter, wherein various parameters of the rocket flight altitude are calculated in the on-board radar station of the rocket carrier, which are transmitted via the “carrier-rocket” communication channel to the ARHH through its tail channel antenna. Further, the effect or absence of the effect of the distracting interference by range and speed is identified based on the analysis of the fulfilment or non-fulfilment of the three conditions and, depending on the identification result, the helicopter acceleration estimates in the vertical and horizontal planes, as well as the mismatch parameters are calculated.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of guiding an air-to-air missile with an ARHH to a helicopter when it is set up with interference that deviates in range and speed.
