SUBSTANCE: relates to alternative automobile fuel. An alternative fuel for gasoline engines is proposed, containing 20-40 wt.% aliphatic ether and up to 100 wt.% alcohol production waste, while the saturated vapor pressure of the aliphatic ether is at least 40 kPa, and alcohol production waste contains at least 85 vol.% ethyl alcohol and not more than 0.5 vol.% methyl alcohol.

EFFECT: production of an alternative fuel for gasoline engines with an octane number of at least 103 units and a saturated vapor pressure of at least 38 kPa, low sulfur content, high chemical stability, as well as additionally improved anti-corrosion properties.
