FIELD: speed limiter.
SUBSTANCE: speed limiter includes a cable pulley and a brake. The pulley is driven by the limiter cable into rotation in both directions around the axis (H). The brake includes at least one eccentric element mounted on a pulley with the possibility of rotation, first and second centrifugal weights, and a return module with a spring system. The element is installed with the ability to rotate on weights. When the weights move, they rotate the element. The return module pulls the weights towards their non-deflected position using spring force. When the pulley rotates to a rotation speed corresponding to the operating speed of the electrical switching elements, the spring system has a first elasticity coefficient (D1). And from the moment of rotation speed corresponding to the speed of operation of the elements, the second coefficient (D2) exceeds the first. The limiter records the first speed of operation of the switching elements, above which it turns on the brake, and the second, upon reaching which it itself performs braking or blocking, and then loads the limiter cable with traction.
EFFECT: increased safety and simplified setting of the limiter.
