SUBSTANCE: invention is a method for determining the optimal time of artificial insemination in breeding pigs by the severity of the immobility reflex, includes an assessment of the immobility reflex according to the relevant characteristics: back position, position of the pelvic limbs, head position, tail position and other acceptable parameters. Each criterion is evaluated according to the scale. The results of the visual assessment are presented in the form of a table and the final score is set according to the minimum value among these results.
EFFECT: interpretation of the final score implies the choice of time for artificial insemination.
