MODULAR MANIPULATION ROBOT FOR EDUCATIONAL USE Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC B25J9/08 B25J11/00 G09B5/00

Abstract RU 2806952 C1

FIELD: robotics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the robotic manipulators intended for use in the educational process for teaching robotics. A modular manipulation robot contains a rotating base fixed on a supporting surface, and a modular mechanical chain with variable geometry, consisting of at least two links connected by means of multi-joint joints, which is movably connected at one end to the rotating base, and its other end is free and made with the possibility of attaching a replaceable end tool. The first multi-joint is connected to the rotating base and the first link, the last multi-joint is connected to the end tool mount and the last link, and the links are connected to each other by at least one middle multi-joint. Each link is made in the form of a parallelogram, the long sides of which are formed by two rods of arbitrary equal length, at the ends of which there are support hinges, and the short sides are formed by the body of the multi-joint joints. Each multi-joint is a body consisting of two halves connected by fastening elements, in which sockets are made for the hinges of the link rods. Each link contains at least one balancing spring and an electric drive mounted on the multi-joint body.

EFFECT: ensuring quick assembly and disassembly of the robot, versatility, ability to create various configurations of manipulation robots in the course of performing various educational tasks, ensuring the reliability of its operation and reducing the labor intensity of manufacturing.
