FIELD: medical equipment; traumatology; orthopedics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the surgical treatment of diseases and consequences of severe injuries of the shoulder joint when arthrodesis is indicated. The internal fixator for arthrodesis of the shoulder joint contains a bone plate with holes and a fixation unit in the form of a scapular fork with tooth planes parallel to each other for placing the scapular spine between the tooth planes. The planes of the teeth are made with coaxial threaded holes for screws for through fixation of the scapular spine. The inner surface of the teeth of the blade fork has a figured contour. The bone plate is made with oval holes for dynamic compression and a longitudinal slotted hole for cortical screws. The section of the fixator corresponding to the area where the shoulder joins the articular process of the scapula is made with a bend of the bone plate relative to the scapular fork, including abduction by 130°, posterior deviation at an angle of 25°. The bone plate is made with a pronation twist of 45° to avoid conflict with the radial nerve, and the distal holes of the bone plate are made angle-stable, with the last distal hole oriented at an angle of 65° to the surface of the humerus.

EFFECT: increasing the correctness of the functionally advantageous installation of the glenohumeral ankylosis, increasing the stability and reliability of fixation of the bone affected by osteoporosis, prevention of peri-implant fracture at the level of the distal end of the fixator, and also prevention of damage to the radial nerve when placing the diaphyseal fixator on the diaphysis of the humerus.
