FIELD: computer technology.
SUBSTANCE: creation of high-speed information processing and computing devices. The optoelectronic code converter contains M N-output optical splitters, N M-input optical combiners, M optical waveguides (M=2N-1, N is the number of output bits of the device), a voltage source, M optocouplers with external photonic connections, each of which contains a photodiode, LED and resistor; the inputs of the device are the inputs of M optical waveguides, the outputs of the optical combiners are the outputs of the device.
EFFECT: increase in the speed of conversion of positional (unitary) binary code into standard binary code.
