FIELD: measuring acoustics.
SUBSTANCE: system for assessing inhomogeneities in enclosing structures contains a signal source, N-sensors attached to the surface under study, a recording device, an analysis and visualization unit for the results. The signal source is configured to generate a smoothly varying probing sound effect on the surface under study within a certain frequency range. The sensors are evenly spaced from each other at a certain distance and connected to the inputs of the recording device. The recording device, the outputs of which are the inputs of the block for analysis and visualization of results, converts incoming signals according to a given algorithm. The results analysis and visualization unit is made with the ability to draw a conclusion about the homogeneity/heterogeneity of the structure of the analyzed surface based on a comparison of the obtained sensor measurement results for identity.
EFFECT: improved quality and efficiency of inspection of enclosing structures to make a decision about their (in)homogeneity.
