where the sum of n and m is a number from 3 to 10, and cosmetic compositions containing such a polymer composition absorbing ultraviolet radiation. Polymer compositions absorbing ultraviolet radiation, containing the polymer compound of the above-mentioned formula, in accordance with the present invention, are especially useful as sunscreen active agents for the protection of organic materials sensitive to ultraviolet light, especially skin and hair of a human and animals, from the action of UV-radiation.
EFFECT: such UV-filters are acceptable as light-protective agents in cosmetic and pharmaceutical scopes of application.
