FIELD: mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of mechanical engineering and can be used in energy, gas, oil and other industries as a storage-type air cleaning device (ACD) for cleaning air supplied to gas turbine and compressor plants (GTP) in the amount of 84 thousand m3/h up to 165 thousand m3/h. The device consists of two modules, upper 1 and lower 2. In the upper module 1, between the air filter units 8, there is a passage 9. Blocks of air filters 8 are located inversely and include sets of filter elements 6, each of which consists of a moisture separator and filters for coarse and fine cleaning. The number of filter element sets in each air filter unit is determined by its dimensions. The protective cap is equipped with air intake shields 5, which are made with solid side walls and equipped with a protective mesh 10 located in the lower part of the air intake shields. An anti-icing system 3 is additionally installed in the upper module 1, supplying hot air from the axial compressor of the turbine of the gas turbine installation to the upper module 1 of the air cleaning device, made in the form of pipelines of variable cross-section and includes two silencers and a distributing T-type manifold. In the end wall of one of the air filter units, there are two bypass valves 7.

EFFECT: use of the invention allows to optimize the aerodynamic characteristics of the flow path, to reduce the dimensions and weight of the device while maintaining its performance, to increase the durability of the filter elements, to reduce the volume of thermal air taken from the engine compressor for its own needs, which increases the efficiency of gas turbine engines.
