FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: present invention is related to agricultural device for dispensing a liquid product to be sprayed over a surface such as an agricultural field. The device contains at least one boom containing a longitudinal supply pipeline for transporting a liquid agent and a plurality of nozzles, a pressure control unit, which is configured to control the opening and closing of one or more corresponding nozzles, a location determination system, which is configured to obtain location data . The location data contains the real-time location of the agricultural device and a time stamp. The device also has a detection system that is located on the boom and/or in front of the agricultural device and is configured to receive detection data containing information about the surface to be sprayed, and a map generator that is configured to generate based on the detection data and location data raster-based images of a surface, where the image contains a number of raster elements. Each raster element contains location data associated with that raster element. The image processing device is configured to receive and process images from a plurality of image recording devices, the processing including identifying plants, such as crop plants and weeds, from the captured images, and comparing the identified plants with plant type information stored in a storage device for providing each of the identified plants with a plant tag. The map generator is configured to associate each of the identified plants and the plant tag with a raster element on the map. The raster element also contains detection data, and in which the pressure control unit and/or at least one nozzle control unit calculating an amount of liquid to be sprayed for each raster element based on at least detection data and a plant tag associated with the raster element.

EFFECT: invention will reduce the influence of the external environment and reduce the cost of spraying agricultural fields.
