SUBSTANCE: group of inventions is related to an anchoring device designed to hold insulating blocks on the supporting wall of a tank. The anchoring device contains a clamping unit (30) including a lower plate (31), an upper plate (32) parallel to the lower plate, and a support part that defines the minimum distance between the lower plate and the upper plate. The spacer element further includes an elastically compressible element (39) tending to hold the lower plate and the upper plate (32) in a spaced apart position. The connecting element determines the maximum distance between the bottom plate and the top plate in the staggered position. Moreover, said maximum distance is greater than said minimum distance. The elastically compressible element (39) is configured to elastically compress to said support position of the lower and upper plates (31, 32) on the support part in response to a force directed towards moving the upper plate towards the lower plate.
