SUBSTANCE: method for producing cellulose from bast fibres is that the purified fibrous raw material is initially treated with an alkaline solution, then it is delignified, the resulting cellulose mass is bleached, intermediate washings, final washing, pressing and drying are carried out. According to the invention, the initial processing of the fibrous raw material is carried out simultaneously with moulding by compacting the fibrous raw material in a press. Delignification is carried out in a cooker by exposing the moulded fibrous raw material to a circulating working solution, bleaching is also carried out in a cooker by exposing the resulting moulded pulp mass to a circulating working solution, and intermediate and final washings are also carried out in a cooker by exposing the moulded pulp mass to circulating water.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to reduce the amount of equipment used and reduce the consumption of water and reagents.
